I was asked to give a talk together with Director Andrew Nairne. I gave my point of view as a potter working in a very similar way. Particular technical details on the exhibits were interesting to the visiting ceramic enthusiast.
A wonderful experience to talk to an audience that was extremely interested in the subject.
Andrew gave an inside into the connection between KY and Lucie Rie’s work and life. Jim Ede’s appreciation of domestic objects mixed with art displayed in his home.
